EnduRE30C Gen 5 for Concrete
Practical guidance for applying EnduRE30C R-E Coating Gen 5 for Concrete, a silicone-acrylic radiative insulation coating designed for concrete roofs, concrete tiles, rendered walls and masonry substrates. For project-specific requirements and detailed step-by-step instructions, please refer to the official Construction Manual.
1) Application Methods
- Airless spray (recommended for best consistency and productivity)
- Air spray
- Roller or brush (for small areas, edges, touch-ups and repairs)
2) Drying & Recoat Time
Drying and recoat times depend on weather, airflow and substrate condition. As a general guide, under standard conditions:
- Surface dry: approximately ≤ 1 hour
- Hard dry: approximately ≤ 24 hours
- Minimum recoat time: 2 hours
- Maximum recoat window: up to 72 hours
Reference conditions: ambient temperature 5–35°C, relative humidity ≤ 75% RH.
3) Application Conditions
- Substrate must be sound, clean and dry, free from dust, grease, salt, mould and loose material.
- Substrate moisture content: ≤ 10%
- Substrate pH: neutral range (pH 7–9)
- Application temperature: 5–35°C
- Relative humidity: ≤ 75% RH
- Ensure adequate ventilation in enclosed or confined spaces during application and drying.
4) Dilution Guidance
Dilution may be required depending on application method and site conditions. Where dilution is used, it should be done with deionised water.
Important: For exact dilution ratios and layer-specific guidance, always follow the Construction Manual and project specifications.
5) Professional Use Notice
- EnduRE30C Gen 5 for Concrete is designed for professional application.
- Actual coverage, drying time and cooling performance may vary depending on substrate condition, surface preparation, weather, coating thickness and application technique.
- Always carry out a small-area test and comply with site safety requirements, including appropriate PPE and ventilation.
