EnduRE30C WaterLock
EnduRE30C WaterLock is a rare-earth enhanced Passive Daytime Radiative Cooling (PDRC) 2-in-1 coating system that combines seamless waterproofing and radiative cooling in a single application. Engineered for flat concrete roofs, waterproof membranes, and refurbishment projects, WaterLock eliminates the need for separate waterproofing and cool roof coating systems — delivering both functions in one integrated solution.
Based on water-based elastic acrylic waterproofing technology, WaterLock adheres firmly to concrete, metal roofs, and waterproof membranes, withstanding extreme temperature changes from -30°C to 90°C while providing long-lasting energy conservation, waterproofing, and weather resistance.
EnduRE30C WaterLock works through two complementary mechanisms:
1. High Solar Reflectance — Reflects 83.1% of total solar energy, blocking UV and infrared radiation before it heats the roof surface.
2. Infrared Atmospheric Window Emission — Rare earth compounds actively re-radiate absorbed heat through the 8–13 µm atmospheric window directly to the cold sky, even during peak daytime hours.
With a thick elastic film (380–420 µm dry film thickness) and outstanding elongation at break, WaterLock bridges existing cracks, seals joints, and provides a seamless impermeable membrane — while simultaneously delivering CSIRO-verified PDRC performance.
CSIRO-Verified Performance
Solar reflectance, thermal emittance, and Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) independently tested by CSIRO Infrastructure Technologies (Clayton VIC) in accordance with ASTM E903, ASTM E408, and ASTM E1980-11. Applied to PVC membrane substrate at 380–460 µm dry film thickness.

Why WaterLock?
Most flat concrete roofs in Australia face two separate problems: waterproofing failure and summer heat buildup. Traditionally these require two separate systems — a waterproof membrane trade and a cool roof coating application — adding cost, programme time, and coordination complexity. EnduRE30C WaterLock solves both in a single system, with independently verified performance for both functions.
Its high elongation at break (223%) means it accommodates structural movement and bridges existing hairline cracks without splitting — a critical requirement for aged concrete rooftops undergoing refurbishment.
Recommended Application System
Prime Coat (A): Special Primer for 2-in-1 Waterproof & Heat-Insulating — 30–60 µm DFT
Functional Coating (B): Special Radiative Cooling Coating for 2-in-1 — 350–400 µm DFT
Topcoat (C): Special Topcoat for 2-in-1 — 15–25 µm DFT
Application method: Airless spray or roller
Recoat window: minimum 4 hours, maximum 72 hours
Sustainability
By combining two building envelope functions into one system, WaterLock reduces material use, application time, and associated carbon footprint compared to separate waterproofing and cool roof systems. Water-based and non-toxic, it supports green building outcomes, NCC energy efficiency compliance, and sustainable building refurbishment.
Two problems. One system. EnduRE30C WaterLock delivers verified waterproofing and passive daytime radiative cooling in a single application.

Radiative Cooling Principle for Coatings
Stay Cooler, Naturally with Rare Earth Technology
Easyto’s EnduRE30C™ Rare Earth Coatings use advanced radiative cooling to keep building surfaces dramatically cooler under the sun. Unlike traditional paints that only reflect visible light, our coatings combine thermal barrier, solar reflection, and natural radiative emission for all-round heat control. This results in lower indoor temperatures, reduced HVAC loads, and improved energy efficiency.
How Radiative Cooling Works

The coating structure consists of multiple functional layers: a protective surface, a rare earth radiative cooling layer, and a heat-insulating substrate. Together, these layers reflect, block, and re-radiate solar energy — ensuring surfaces stay cooler without compromising durability or aesthetics.
Three Key Mechanisms
1. Thermal Barrier
Heat conduction is reduced by using rare earth materials with low thermal conductivity, preventing excess heat from transferring indoors.
2. Thermal Reflection
The coating reflects solar radiation energy across a wide wavelength range (200–2500nm), reducing the amount of heat absorbed by the building surface.
3. Thermal Radiation
Any absorbed solar energy is re-emitted as harmless far-infrared radiation (8–13μm) back into the sky through the atmospheric window — a natural, maintenance-free cooling process.
Why Rare Earth Makes the Difference
Unlike conventional titanium-based paints, Easyto’s rare earth coatings maintain high stability, strong solar rejection, and long-term weather resistance. This ensures performance does not fade with time and continues to deliver measurable energy savings year after year.
Real-World Benefits
- ✔ Surface temperature reduction up to 30°C
- ✔ Indoor cooling by 5–11°C

Applications
Radiative cooling coatings are ideal for metal roofs, warehouses, demountable, telecom cabinets, tanks, animal barns, and more. By staying cooler naturally, these coatings extend material lifespan, improve occupant comfort, and lower operating costs.
