Quantum™ 70 Nano Rare Earth

Crystal-clear heat control for front windscreens

Built on rare earth LSPR (Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance) technology, Quantum™ 70 keeps your view natural and bright while targeting heat at the source. Enjoy rapid cabin cool-down, reduced glare, and >99% UV protection — all without metallic layers that can block signals.

Why drivers choose Quantum™ 70

  • High clarity for front windscreens (≈70% VLT) with a subtle anti-glare, lanthanum-blue tone.
  • Serious heat rejection: up to 93±2% IR blocked; 46±2% TSER.
  • UV defense: blocks ≥99% of UV to protect both passengers and interiors.
  • Interior care: prevents fading, cracking and discoloration of dashboards and leather seats.
  • Signal-safe: non-metallic construction won’t interfere with 5G, GPS or toll tags.
  • Durable: automotive-grade 2.0 mil film with 8-year warranty.

Recommended applications

  • ✔ Front windscreen (driver visibility priority)
  • ✔ Premium/EV vehicles where connectivity is critical
  • ✔ Long-distance and fleet vehicles for comfort & safety
  • ✔ Cars with leather interiors needing UV protection
Rare-Earth LSPR Advantage: proprietary rare-earth 4f orbitals interact with IR/UV to suppress heat (NIR) and glare while preserving visible light transmission — outperforming traditional metallic films.

LSPR Effect

How Rare Earth Nanotechnology Controls Heat and Light

What is LSPR?

Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance (LSPR) is the principle that powers Easyto’s rare earth window films. By using Lanthanum (La), these films resonate with solar infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) radiation, blocking unwanted heat while maintaining high visible light clarity.

Unlike coatings for walls or roofs, LSPR is specifically effective when applied to transparent glass surfaces. This makes it the core technology behind our architectural and automotive films.

The Three Stages of LSPR

1. Blocking Harmful Radiation

Rare earth nanomaterials block up to 95–99% of incoming infrared and ultraviolet rays while allowing visible light to pass through, ensuring both comfort and clarity.

2. Converting Radiant Energy into Heat

When infrared and UV reach the Lanthanum (La) nanolayer, the film enters LSPR and absorbs/damps the radiation. That energy is then released as heat at the glass/film surface and carried away by natural air movement and conduction within the pane—rather than being transmitted indoors. Visible light still passes, keeping the glass clear while reducing solar heat gain.

3. Dual Thermal Performance

By controlling solar heat gain in summer and retaining warmth in winter, Easyto’s rare earth coatings and films provide dual seasonal benefits. This means lower cooling costs in hot months and improved comfort during colder months—all without active energy consumption.

Why LSPR is Different

Traditional Low-E glass relies on thin metallic layers that degrade and lose effectiveness over time. Easyto’s rare earth nanotechnology, powered by Lanthanum-based LSPR, delivers:

  • ✔ Stable performance without oxidation or fading
  • ✔ Superior heat and UV rejection
  • ✔ High visible light clarity for natural daylight
  • ✔ Sustainable energy savings with no wiring or maintenance

From Science to Real-World Benefits

LSPR resonance is at the heart of Easyto’s SmartShield™ architectural films and Quantum™ automotive films. By harnessing the unique interaction of Lanthanum with solar radiation, our films provide superior comfort, UV protection, and energy efficiency without altering the clarity of glass.

Warranty Information

Easyto Thermal Solution Australia Pty Ltd (“Easyto”, “we”, “us”) provides this Limited Warranty for installations of SkyShield™ Elastic Sunroof Film and Quantum™ Auto Films on passenger and commercial vehicles in Australia when installed by an Authorised Installer.

Warranty Periods

  • Front windshield interior film: 8 years
  • Front side windows (VLT 35) interior film: 8 years
  • SkyShield™ Elastic Sunroof Film: 8 years
  • Side & rear windows (VLT 20) interior film: 8 years

What’s Covered

  • Adhesion without abnormal bubbling, large-scale blistering, or delamination
  • Film integrity without cracking, fissuring, or embrittlement (not caused by external force)
  • Edge bonding without adhesive failure, peeling, or curling
  • Optical stability without severe discolouration (transmittance drop > 30% vs factory spec, verified by professional testing) or oxidation haze

Labour Coverage

For valid claims within 1 year of installation, we cover reasonable removal and reinstallation labour. After 1 year, the Warranty covers replacement product only (labour and access excluded).

Conditions

  • Installed by an Authorised Installer per Easyto instructions, on original, undamaged, unmodified vehicle glass
  • Keep proof of purchase and installation record
  • Warranty registration by email within 30 days is recommended (send proof to info@easyto.com.au)
  • Follow our Care & Maintenance

What’s Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear (minor scratches, abrasions, slight gloss reduction)
  • Improper maintenance (abrasives, strong acids/alkalis, hard brushes, sharp tools)
  • External force or human factors (impacts, accidents, vandalism, non-authorised workmanship)
  • Pre-existing or subsequent glass defects (cracks, deep scratches, seal failure, frame deformation)
  • Acts of God or extraordinary events (fire, flood, natural disaster)

How to Make a Claim

  1. Contact your Authorised Installer first. If unavailable, contact Easyto directly.
  2. Email info@easyto.com.au with subject “Warranty” and include proof of purchase, installation date, defect photos, and installer details.
  3. Provide access for inspection by Easyto or our agent. Unauthorised repairs may void coverage.

For valid claims, we will supply replacement product of like or similar quality and, if within 1 year, cover reasonable labour. Replacement does not extend the original warranty term.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits of this warranty are in addition to your rights under the ACL.

Care & Maintenance

  • Do not clean the film for 30 days after installation
  • Use mild, non-abrasive cleaners with a soft cloth; avoid harsh chemicals and sharp tools
  • Do not apply tapes, stickers, or adhesives directly to the film
General: This warranty applies to the Original Purchaser and is not transferable. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the remedies above. Governing law: New South Wales, Australia.
